I’m not quite sure how the idea for this piece came to me but, once it did, I couldn’t shake it. Foxes are commonly portrayed as sly, thus portraying the virus. While their prey, rabbits, are quite defenceless and could quite easily be captured by the ‘fox’. Hence the NHS worker helping the rabbits by scaring this fox away, as many frightened rabbits watch from their windows. I created this piece to commend the outstanding effort of the NHS during this pandemic.
